在設(shè)置廣告的過程中,關(guān)鍵詞的匹配方式有三種:Broad(寬泛匹配),Phrase(詞組匹配)和Exact(精準(zhǔn)匹配),如果賣家不手動設(shè)置,系統(tǒng)默認(rèn)的關(guān)鍵詞匹配方式是寬泛匹配,但也會有賣家會擔(dān)心寬泛匹配的方式會帶來不精準(zhǔn)的流量,造成不必要的浪費,從而選擇詞組匹配或精準(zhǔn)匹配的方式。
雖然我們可以在很多關(guān)于PPC廣告技巧的文章中讀到關(guān)于關(guān)鍵詞匹配方式選擇的建議和技巧,但很多技巧往往是基于賣家自己的體驗,這種體驗也許有道理,但未必全面。為了能夠更好的理解三種關(guān)鍵詞匹配方式,我們不妨從官方給出的解釋中來解讀。
關(guān)于三種匹配方式選擇,亞馬遜的官方解釋如下:Broad match keywords will give you the most traffic exposure, while phrase and exact match will restrict your traffic to a narrower and more precise target audience.(大意是:寬泛匹配的方式可以讓你獲得最多的曝光,而詞組匹配和精準(zhǔn)匹配則會限制流量向一個較窄的但更精準(zhǔn)的目標(biāo)客戶群體)。
泛泛的解釋不便于賣家理解,亞馬遜官方又給出了廣告設(shè)置的建議:When choosing a match type, it's recommended that you start with broad match to capture the most information on where your ads perform the best. Then review either the keyword metrics in Campaign Manager under the Keywords tab, or the Campaign Performance Report for Sponsored Products to evaluate the performance of your keywords and match types. Once you've observed which keywords and search terms are performing best, you can change your bids or create a more concise group of keywords to optimize your campaigns and reach your goals.(大意是:剛開始設(shè)置一個廣告計劃時,推薦以寬泛匹配的方式設(shè)置,以便于廣告能夠得到最大的展示,獲取最多的有用信息。然后,根據(jù)廣告績效報表去評估關(guān)鍵詞和匹配方式,當(dāng)你發(fā)掘到某個關(guān)鍵詞表現(xiàn)好,你就可以修改廣告出價或者創(chuàng)建一個新的更精準(zhǔn)的廣告計劃以達(dá)到廣告投放的目標(biāo)。)
言外之意,亞馬遜建議廣告投放前期選擇寬泛匹配的方式,在廣告投放過程中,根據(jù)報表的情況進(jìn)行后期的廣告優(yōu)化,優(yōu)化的方式可以是針對不同關(guān)鍵詞的出價進(jìn)行調(diào)整,或者針對不同的關(guān)鍵詞設(shè)置新的廣告計劃。
關(guān)于寬泛匹配,亞馬遜官方給出的解釋是:This match type offers your ad broad traffic exposure. A search term will match if it contains all the keyword terms in any order(關(guān)鍵詞匹配時不論詞序,只要包含所有的詞即可).Broad match also includes common misspellings, related searches, and other variations that are close to the keyword(寬泛匹配中可以包含習(xí)慣性的拼寫錯誤、相關(guān)詞語和其它相接近的關(guān)鍵詞變體).
而關(guān)于詞組匹配,亞馬遜的解釋是:The search term must contain the exact phrase or sequence of words(客戶用于搜索的關(guān)鍵詞必須包含精確的短語本身或者按照同樣順序排序的詞語,即要么是精準(zhǔn)一致,要么詞序得一致). It is more restrictive than broad match and will generally result in more relevant placements for your ad.
亞馬遜對于精準(zhǔn)匹配的解釋是:The search term must exactly match the keyword or sequence of words in order for the ad to show, and will also match close variations of the exact term(客戶用于搜索的關(guān)鍵詞必須精確匹配或者是按照同樣順序排序的詞語). Exact match is the most restrictive match type, but can be more relevant to a search.
為了讓賣家更容易理解,亞馬遜給出舉例:
通過上面亞馬遜官方解釋和舉例不難發(fā)現(xiàn),雖然寬泛匹配的方式匹配相對來說會模糊,但整體來說,涵蓋了盡可能多的潛在客戶,而詞組和精準(zhǔn)匹配的方式雖然精準(zhǔn),但也無形中錯過了一些潛在用戶的搜索,所以,如果一個廣告計劃轉(zhuǎn)化合適,建議賣家還是優(yōu)先考慮寬泛匹配為好。
除了匹配方式之外,亞馬遜還對關(guān)鍵詞字?jǐn)?shù)(字符數(shù))做了說明:最長不超過十個單詞或者最長不超過80個字符。這番解釋也許可以讓直接把標(biāo)題復(fù)制了當(dāng)做關(guān)鍵詞使用的賣家死心了。
